Marketing Definition
The design of any materials that require printing to market or advertise the company's products/services. That includes your stationery, business cards, newsletters, promotional items (such as branded pens, magnets, hats, t-shirts), direct mail, and print advertisements.
The MET Design Marketing Process
Successful marketing entails six essential steps:
- Review of the current marketing plan of the company.
- Research the competition and the marketplace.
- Construct a plan taking into account the history, successes and goals of the company, and the current market conditions. The plan will outline initiatives that are distributed through various channels.
- Implement the plan by creating the materials for each initiative.
- Measure the results of the initiative. Without measuring the results the success is not known and can't be refined and improved in future campaigns.
- Repeat the cycle for that initiative or launch another initiative.
